William Sousa of Warren passed away on Friday at the age of 46. He worked with Kaleidoscope for 20 years and performed in The Ugly Duckling, I'm Special, You're Special, Welcome Home, Someone Believes in You, The Frog Prince, Sleeping Beauty, and Jack & the Beanstalk. Bill will be remembered Wednesday night at Smith Funeral and Memorial services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren from 4-8pm. The funeral will be held Thursday at 10:00am with a Mass at 11:00am at St. Dominic’s Church, Swansea. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ARC of Northern RI, 80 Fabian St., Woonsocket 02895.
The Kaleidoscope Staff will be attending the wake right at 4pm if anyone else would like to go with us. While Bill last performed on the Kaleidoscope stage more than 10 years ago, we always hoped he'd be back... his presence will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
