"We're having a party, it's gonna be grand!"



Attention all Kaleidomembers new and old! Join us Saturday February 21 for our Valentines themed party. Come with a date, single, or with friends; no matter what you are sure to have a blast! A great way for all company members to meet and gather and have a good time as well!

Food provided will be party pizza, cookies, brownies, and various snacks, along with soda and water. Feel free to bring any other food/snacks you would like!
*If you have any food allergies please inform us so we can make the necessary arrangements!*

Also participate in our Competition!
Soloists or groups can perform any song, skit, or monologue they would like! Winner will have a video put on Facebook made by us and will receive a gift card! There will be a skit/monologue (skit/monologue video) winner and a song (music video) winner. We will be taking entries for the competition right up until the last act!

*Accompaniment for songs must be by MP3 or Acapella*
***All performances must have a theme of love/relationships!***

Open Auditions


Audition Notice

Payton Productions will hold auditions for Saints, the Musical on January 24 and 25 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at St. Raphael Academy in Pawtucket, RI.
This rollicking new musical, written by Kaleidoscope Theatre’s David Payton, is based on Don Payton’s book, Friends Are Thicker Than Water. Don’s book covers the year 1955 at Saint Raphael Academy, when he was class vice-president and captain of the football team. Saints is a hilarious and nostalgic account of the many misadventures of two best friends.
  • Saints will be presented as a reader’s theatre workshop, with staged musical numbers
  • Needed are 12 male actors and 6 female actors, aged 16 to 60
  • Those auditioning should prepare a one minute comic monologue and 16 bars each of an upbeat song and a ballad. Bring a resume and photo, if available
  • Bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided
  • A short dance combination will be taught
    Saints will be directed by Sandy Cerel and Anne Colannino, with
    musical direction by Lila Kane, and choreography by Bill Evans.
