Boston Casting is holding an open call for boys, 8-11, for the upcoming feature film "Ted" starring Mark Wahlberg. Job will shoot in the Boston metro area in February. If you have already auditioned there is no need to come again.

January 13th - Snow Day Part 2

Shows at the Jamestown School will be rescheduled... BULLY rehearsal for tomorrow's shows is still on as scheduled!

January 12th - Snow Day

BULLY shows at McGuire Elementary and Highlander Charter have been postponed tomorrow (1/12) due to the incoming 17 inches of snow... we will be in touch about rescheduling.

In Memory - George Savella

As many of you may already know via facebook, Francesca's father passed away over the weekend. Francesca has been active with Kaleidoscope for a number of years and recently played Mother Hubbard in "Mother Goose" and Disgustia in "Cinderella." In order to raise the wonderful Francesca, we know he must have been an amazing man. Our thoughts are with her at this time and Kscope will be showing support by attending the wake tomorrow around 5pm.

SAVELLA, GEORGE H., 51, of Bakewell Ct., Cranston, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Barbara M. (Caputo) Savella. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late George A. and Helen C. (Szylin) Savella. George was a science teacher at North Kingstown High School for the past 10 years and was also the former owner of George's Lawncare, Inc. He graduated from Cranston High School West; received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Roger Williams University in 1981; and graduated from Providence College Teaching Certification Program in 2000. He was a member of the Alpine Country Club, the N.E.A., past coach of Cranston Western Little League and past den leader in Pack 12 Cub Scouts, Cranston. An avid sports enthusiast, George was a fan of Notre Dame Football, PC Friars, Boston Red Sox and N.E. Patriots. Besides his wife, he was the loving and devoted father of Francesca M. Savella and Thomas G. Savella; dear brother of Donna M. Carpenter and her husband Jeffrey of North Kingstown; dear son-in-law of Thomas and Concetta Caputo of Cranston, dear brother-in-law of Dr. Edward and Dr. Judith Caputo of Cranston; and loving uncle of Edward Caputo, Jr. and Brianna Caputo. George also leaves his best friend and companion Brady. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
